Une ambiance morose plane sur la Grèce, alors que la crise de la dette empire et que la société grecque n'a plus confiance en ses dirigeants. Les Grecs craignent que leur pays ne parvienne pas à gérer sa dette souveraine, explique Yiannis Roubatis.

"On Thursday, 20 October 2011, tens of thousands participated in demonstrations in the second day of a general strike called to protest the new austerity measures demanded by the Troika. Shopkeepers, civil servants, construction workers, doctors, teachers, lawyers, dock workers, students, unemployed workers from the private sector and others took to the streets of Athens, Thessalonica and other cities calling for an end to further tax hikes and pay cuts.
All the major trade unions were represented and voters from the entire political spectrum, including the ruling Socialist Party, were on Constitution Square in front of the Parliament Building.
